Method

  • step 1

    Put all the ingredients except the amaretto in a very large saucepan or stock pot over a low heat and cook for 10-15 mins.

  • step 2

    Stir in the amaretto, then ladle into mugs or heatproof glasses. Use the cinnamon sticks for garnish, if you like.
